We are looking for a licensed Pediatrician in the state of Virginia to sign on as a collaborating physician for 1 Pediatric Physician Assistant and 1 Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. The position is remote, and only requires the MD/DO to be available by telephone/text for the PA and NP. The MD/DO is expected to be available by telephone/text Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, but the consults/calls to the Collaborating Physician are expected to be minimal/approximately 2 hours per week. The ideal candidate will possess thorough knowledge of children’s disease and epidemiology. Monthly pay can be negotiated for experience.
Responsibilities:
Be available by telephone/text Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Chart reviews of the PA and NP at least quarterly
Keep abreast of advancements in pediatrics and best practices.
Skills:
Proven experience as a pediatrician
In-depth knowledge of children epidemiology and infectious diseases
Extensive knowledge of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation principles and techniques
Current knowledge of drugs/medications appropriate for children
